Desiree Hammer, PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in pain management and orthopaedics..

​

Originally born and raised in the Midwest, Desiree relocated to Utah for undergraduate studies at the University of Utah where she graduated with Bachelors of Health Science in Exercise Physiology. During this time she worked along side Dr. Vikas Garg, as a medical assistant and office manager at Lakeview Pain Management Center. Her journey continued to the west coast where she completed her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences, in California. Having a foundation in pain management early on, it was natural to continue her passion moving forward and along the way developed a strong interest to specialize in orthopaedics. Desiree was fortunate to have trained and worked along side Southern California’s most highly recognized orthopaedics and neurosurgeons. Having this extensive, targeted training, Desiree has obtained the clinical experience and knowledge needed to make sound decisions in order to become successful at our practice.

When not at work, Desiree enjoys traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, spending time with her fur-child Breck (an Australian Shepard), and with friends & family. She is looking forward to continue her ventures exploring Utah’s beautiful landscape whether it is on a hiking trail, carving turns on the side of a mountain, in a boat, or on two wheels.
