Intracept Procedure

Getting Back What Pain Has Stolen.

Chronic low back pain steals so much from life—and a type of this pain is called vertebrogenic pain. Thirty years of science and a strong foundation of clinical evidence has driven a clear understanding of vertebrogenic pain—and now our mission is to treat patients in Utah with this condition with the proven and durable Intracept Procedure.

Research has shown that vertebral body endplates are a common source of chronic low back pain. Many procedures focus on the discs in-between the two vertebrae. The Intracept procedure focuses on patients that have vertebrogenic pain.

“Other than surgery, we’ve never had anything to offer patients suffering from debilitatingchronic low back pain that have failed conservative therapy. With the Intracept Procedure, we areembarking on a paradigm shift in how we treat chronic low back pain. The significant improvement inpain and function demonstrated by the Intracept Procedure provides clear proof of the effectiveness of this treatment,” stated Vikas Garg, MD.
